Friedrich Nietzsche

(October 15, 1844 — August 25, 1900)

Nietzsche's name changes its spelling at random intervals over the day so that no one can ever spell it correctly; its pronunciation is also a source of much argument some pronouncing it ‘Nee-chu’, some ‘Nee-chee’, and some ‘Nee-deep-in-his-own-sense-of-self-worth’.

Nietzsche's autobiography, Ecce Homo, is famous for having chapters with titles such as ‘Why I Am So Wise’, ‘Why I Am So Clever’, and ‘Why I Write Such Good Books’ . What many people do not realise is that Nietzsche wrote a second autobiography, Ecce Homo, Tu: this included chapters such as ‘Why I Am So Sexy’, ‘Why I Am So Pleasant Smelling’, and ‘Why I Am So Modest’.
