Kurt Gödel

(April 28, 1906 — January 14, 1978)

Gödel is most famous for proving that mathematics is really really complicated. He also proved that maths either has bits missing or doesn't make sense. Something everyone already thought anyway.

Later in life Gödel tried to prove that you cannot, in fact, prove anything. He failed.
