Aristotle

(384 B.C — 322 B.C)

Aristotle is famous for writing the largest amount of incorrect things ever. His cosmology: wrong. His logic: wrong. His biology: wrong. In fact Aristotle got so much wrong that many philosophy papers often just refer to him as “The student of Plato and teacher of Alexander the Great” — just in case he got his own name wrong too.

Aristotle eventually became Plato's rival — although this largely revolved around who had the best beard.
